View of San Juan Islands & Lummi MountainLummi Island Lifestyle

Those of us living on Lummi Island came here because of its unspoiled natural beauty, the slower, peaceful pace of the island, and a tight-knit rural community reminiscent of a bygone era. We are also the only San Juan island with easy access to the mainland and urban services, one of the main reasons Lummi can remain as commercially undeveloped as it is. Here, Mother Nature is at her best with spectacular water and island views, an abundance of sea birds, eagles, herons, and even passing pods of Orca whales.

The inventory of properties for sale on Lummi Island is never large, but it can be extremely varied. The most affordable lots and homes are found in two developments: Scenic Estates on the southeast side, and Isle Aire on the northwest. Lummi Mountain occupies the south half of the island and is mostly undeveloped. The northern half is where you will find acreage parcels, homes on larger lots, a few inland properties, one condo grouping, and many waterfront homes.

How We Work

Our office is a "by-appointment" office, located on Lummi Island. We are Lummi Island residents and we work as a team, endeavoring to give you the best possible service, whether you are buying, or selling. As members of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service, we have access to comprehensive information on all island listings and can show you any property of interest. We are also in a unique position to answer your questions about Lummi Island, and like to schedule time to discuss the realities of living here. Our Buyers Packet includes a guide to island businesses, an island map, a description of our services and the buying process, as well as information on the island's total real estate inventory. Call us for an appointment, we look forward to meeting you and showing you around this beautiful island!

Community Services

In an effort to help visitors and potential residents connect with island businesses, services, and artists, we are expanding our Community page to include more links to our resident's websites. When we meet with new buyers, we will also provide them with a guide to island business people that do not  have a website...connecting newcomers with everyone from our local dog trainer to contractors, therapists and landscapers.

We are also hosting an Island Rentals page that will serve to connect local landlords with those seeking long-tem rental homes on the island, as well as our Lodging Page if you are interested in scheduling time at a vacation rental or Bed and Breakfast.
